About Clean Brutalist
A minimalist ConnectWise invoice design — Georgia body, Courier labels, and almost nothing else.
Clean Brutalist looks less like something a designer made and more like something a typesetter set. Body copy in Georgia. Metadata in Courier. One heavy black rule under the header, a smaller rule between sections, and nothing else.
It's the invoice equivalent of a lab report. The signal isn't "we hired a branding agency" — it's "we take this seriously enough that decoration would cheapen it." MSPs who deliver careful, documented work tend to read this aesthetic the right way.
Best for
- → Security-led MSPs, vCISOs, and compliance shops
- → Firms billing for senior engineering work
- → Owners whose brand lives in the words, not a logo
- → Clients who read their invoices line by line
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Clean Brutalist for my ConnectWise invoices?
+
Yes. On Better Invoice's Custom plan, the code editor and templating engine produce a working ConnectWise Manage invoice in this look, with your agreements, time entries, products, and tax flowing in through the API. No Report Writer, no Crystal Reports.
Can I add my logo?
+
Yes. Logo upload is standard in Better Invoice, and the Clean Brutalist layout accommodates it cleanly in the header.
Is this the right design for my MSP?
+
If your brand leans serious, careful, and documentation-first, yes. If your brand is warm, colorful, or playful, try Card Flow — Editorial or Kinetic instead.
Can I change the fonts or accent color?
+
Yes. Clean Brutalist is strongest left monochromatic, but when you build it on the Custom plan you have full control over typefaces, rule weights, and accent color through the template editor.
